It was reported earlier the upcoming 2014 Porsche 991 GT3 was to get PDK only, however the latest rumours say it will come with a proper manual stickshift as a standard, leaving the PDK as an option. A huge relief for the purists. Expected power figure to be no less then 450 horsepower. August Achleitner, the 911 project chief, confirmed that Porsche’s motorsport division is currently testing both manual and PDK versions of the new GT3.

Even though these renders were based on spyshots for the most part, there isn’t much known about the final design for the all new GT3.  So keep in mind these renders are mostly just speculation. It is likely the front will resemble the 991′s aerokit with a sportier front lip and the rear will feature a double central exhaust and a sleek but wide rear spoiler. The rear bumper depicted in these renderings is purely fiction.
