It turned out to be a mega-hit with a total volume of 14,022 cars produced making it the firm&#8217;s most successful model to-date. The Gallardo&#8217;s successor, the new\u00a0Hurac\u00e1n, does have some big boots to fill. This immense power is brought to the road via a new 7-speed dual-clutch transmission called the &#8220;Lamborghini Doppia Frizione&#8221; (LDF) and a fully electronically controlled four-wheel-drive system.<\/p>\n<p>The Huracan incorporates three different driving modes, STRADA, SPORT and CORSA. They can be selected via a driving dynamics selector switch in the steering wheel &#8211; from traction-oriented on the road to extreme performance on the race track.<\/p>\n<p>The different modes ensure extensive modification in road behavior of the Hurac\u00e1n. In particular they influence the set-ups of several systems, such as the gearbox and engine behavior, the sound, the four-wheel-drive system and electronic stability control.<\/p>\n<p>The Hurac\u00e1n&#8217;s carbon-ceramic brakes are a standard feature for consistently superb braking performance. The &#8220;Lamborghini Dynamic Steering&#8221; variable steering ratio system and magneto-rheologic suspension damper control are both available as options for further customization of the Hurac\u00e1n&#8217;s dynamic behavior.
