In the present-day Nissan is utilizing the Nismo name and racing heritage for the tuning of their street models. As Nissan expands its Nismo line of factory performance models, it would be no surprise to see the recently released <a title=\"Nissan Pulsar\" href=\"http:\/\/www.roadmag.co.uk\/2014\/05\/20\/new-nissan-pulsar-nismo-rs-rendered\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nissan Pulsar<\/a> to receive treatment as well. It would be a new player in the hot-hatch segment and compete with cars like the Golf GTI and Ford Focus ST.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;With Nismo, our in-house motorsports arm already producing versions of the 370Z Nismo, Juke Nismo, Juke Nismo RS and GT-R Nismo, we wanted to demonstrate where we could go in the future.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><em> Nissan Vice President of Product Planning, Pierre Loing.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Its GT-R-inspired functional and fully integrated aerodynamic body pieces have been redesigned to provide an aggressive and more aerodynamic new appearance. Key changes include a new, deep front fascia with LED Hyper Daytime Running Lights, black headlight bezels, Nismo emblem and signature Nismo red stripe accent on the integrated front chin spoiler. Formed in 1984 as a result of a merger of two motorsport departments.<br \/>\nNissan decided that it wanted to merge its two motorsport divisions, founded in the late 1960s. The merger was to specialize in sportscar racing, but it also provided support for teams competing in raceseries. Such as JSPC, Formula Nippon, JTCC, 24 Hours of Le Mans and 24 Hours of Daytona.
