We\u2019ve seen the exceptional design concept McLaren displayed at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, the roadster would be a natural progression for the P1 platform.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, it isn\u2019t likely that McLaren would produce a Roadster version of the McLaren P1\u00a0given its hardcore performance focus. However, it\u2019s always fun to speculate about these things!<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The P1 Design Study\u2019s headline figure is the 600kg of downforce it produces from well below top speed. Thats five times more than the McLaren MP4-12C, while maintaining a drag coefficient of just 0.34! The active rear wing adjusts by up to 300mm on a racetrack, and by up to 120mm on the road.
