Lexus’ M4 Rival RC-F Teased

Lexus has released a second teaser image ahead of its Detroit Motor Show Debut of a new addition to the F portfolio’, which is believed to be Lexus’ BMW M4 rivaling RC-F.

However, from this teaser we can see that the RC-F will be fitted with a snarling bonnet vent and the manufactures’ trademark spindle grille. The RC-F will also incorporate some of the RC Coupe’s LED headlights.

Behind that striking bonnet vent is a 5.0-liter V8 which will push around 455hp. Also an electronic-cylinder-deactivation system which deactivates 4 cylinders of the V8 under partial throttle to save fuel is also a possibility.

The Lexus RC-F is expected to cost around the £65,000 mark when the model arrives in 2014.

Lexus IS-F Coupe

Watch out BMW.

Lexus isn’t fully concentrating on hybrids, The BMW M3 M4 (four, ‘get used to it!’) is getting competition from Japan. In the shape of a Lexus IS-F Coupe. Which looks like an exorbitant BMW from the back. Even with the camouflage.

So, it is supposed to be Lexus image-booster, should BMW sweat their chests?
It simply looks like the controversial styled Lexus IS, with two doors. And is related to the LF-CC concept which was shown as a concept not too long ago.

However this one that will have an -F written behind it. That means 4 exhaust pipes and wider fenders with holes in them.
We haven’t seen a normal IS-coupe yet, but we know some extra power for this -F version is very likely too.
